About Vitality Unleashed Psychology

A calmer, more considered kind of psychological care

Vitality Unleashed Psychology is a boutique psychology and dietetics practice in Bundall, on the Gold Coast. We are a small, intentional team who believe the quality of your care depends on the quality of the relationship behind it. So we have built a practice where you are seen by an experienced clinician who takes the time to truly understand you — not passed between a rotating roster of faces.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, low mood, trauma, a major life change, or simply feeling that things could be better, you deserve care that is personal, unhurried and genuinely collaborative. That is what we are here for.

Our story

Built on a simple idea

Vitality Unleashed was founded by Ashley Gilmour, Principal Clinical Psychologist, around a simple idea: that good psychological care should feel personal, unhurried and collaborative. Too often, therapy can feel rushed, impersonal, or stitched together across a revolving team where you retell your story again and again.

Ashley set out to do it differently — creating a practice deliberately kept small, where clients work with the same clinician over time, and where care is shaped around the person rather than the system. Today, Vitality Unleashed brings psychology and dietetics together under one roof, so the mind and body can be supported side by side.

Our approach

How we work

Evidence-based, always

We draw on well-established, research-supported therapies and tailor them to you — never a one-size-fits-all program.

Warm and human

Therapy works best when you feel safe, respected and understood. We lead with warmth and without judgement.

Mind and body, together

Because psychological and physical wellbeing are deeply connected, we offer psychology and dietetics together, so your care is joined up.

Continuity of care

A small team means you work with someone who knows your story, so your care feels consistent from beginning to end.

Ashley Gilmour
Principal Clinical Psychologist & Founder

With over 17 years’ experience assessing, diagnosing and treating complex psychological presentations, Ashley provides psychological assessment and therapy, psychometric testing and report writing across a wide range of concerns.

Ashley works to develop a clear, integrated understanding of what’s happening for each client — considering emotional patterns, developmental history, neurodevelopmental factors, personality structure and relational dynamics — so the formulation reflects the whole picture, not just the surface symptoms.
