We no longer offer employee or contractor roles to psychologists
To be clear: Vitality Unleashed Psychology does not engage psychologists as employees or contractors, and we are not accepting applications for those roles. This is a firm and settled decision.
The one way to work from our Bundall building is to rent your own consulting suite, as an independent practitioner, through Upton Professional Suites. Here’s what that does and doesn’t mean.
A different option — rent your own consulting suite
If you’re an independent practitioner who wants a beautiful, fully serviced room to run your own practice from, you can rent a consulting suite in our Bundall building through Upton Professional Suites — one of the businesses of Vitality Unleashed Psychology Pty Ltd, alongside Vitality Unleashed Psychology itself. You get a purpose-built clinical space, a welcoming shared reception and waiting lounge, a kitchen and balcony retreat, and on-site parking — by the session, the day, or on a regular weekly basis.
But renting a room is not the same as contracting with us — and it’s important you know the difference before you enquire.
Room rental is not a contractor arrangement
When you rent a consulting suite, you are an independent practitioner running your own business. You are our tenant for the space — not our employee, associate or contractor.
A practice gives you work and pays you.
You pay for the room and bring your own practice with you.
They’re very different things.
What renting a suite gives you
A professional, private consulting room and use of the shared front-of-house, kitchen/balcony retreat and parking; utilities, Wi-Fi, climate control, secure access and cleaning included; the flexibility to book sessionally, daily or weekly; and a calm, credible setting to meet your clients — without the cost and commitment of your own fit-out.
What renting a suite is not — what will not be provided
Your suite is rented through Upton Professional Suites — which, together with Vitality Unleashed Psychology and their parent company, Vitality Unleashed Psychology Pty Ltd, and its group of businesses (together, “the Company”), operates Level 1 of the building under a lease.
So there’s no misunderstanding, renting a room does not include, and the Company will not be:
In short, the suite is a professional home for a practice you already run — not a caseload, a job, or a contract.
Our business, knowledge and IP remain ours
The rental is strictly for the use of the physical space and shared facilities. It gives you no access to, and no rights over, the Company’s business operations, its clinical or business intellectual property, its systems, documents, templates, pricing, processes, client base, referral relationships or confidential information — all of which remain the exclusive and confidential property of Upton Professional Suites, Vitality Unleashed Psychology, and Vitality Unleashed Psychology Pty Ltd and its group of businesses.
Renting a suite is not a partnership or a share in the Company or any of its businesses, and it does not entitle you to use, copy, or benefit from the Company’s business, know-how or information in any way. Practitioners are expected to run their own separate, independent practice and to keep their business and the Company’s distinct.
What you bring as a room-renting practitioner
Your own AHPRA registration, professional indemnity and public liability insurance, your own ABN, your own clients and bookings, your own billing and clinical records, and responsibility for your own practice, taxation and insurances. If that’s the independence you’re after, it’s a genuinely good option.
Who this suits
Renting a suite suits established, independent practitioners — psychologists, counsellors, dietitians and allied-health professionals — who already have (or are building) their own client base and simply want a professional space to see them in. If you’re looking for a practice to give you work, this isn’t that — and we’re not offering that.
