What does the name ‘Vitality Unleashed’ mean? Firstly it is important to understand what ‘Vitality’ means. We are beings made of energy. To have vitality means to have energy and life force within us in the areas of physical, mental, and emotional functioning. When we have physical vitality, we are full of physical wellbeing and strength; vigour.
Clinical Psychologist | Director
Ashley is a highly qualified, warm & understanding Clinical Psychologist of more than 14 years and the Founder and Director of Vitality Unleashed Psychology. Ashley has a strong passion for understanding the mind and human behaviour, and helping people to work through challenges and reach their happiness goals. Clinical Psychology Registrar
Kristy is a Clinical Psychology Registrar who is also studying a Doctorate of Philosophy at Bond University with a research focus on clinical aftercare for late diagnosis for Autistic adults.
She believes in a trauma-informed, neurodiverse-affirming practice to support individuals through their mental health journey, including comprehensive assessment and client-centred therapy.
Rachael is a welcoming and warm, fully endorsed Clinical Psychologist experienced in working with clients across the lifespan within a number of different settings, including community mental health, private practice and Telehealth. She has worked with clients via individual therapy, group based therapies, outreach community approaches, as well as psychological assessment. Rachael also has experience working within the NDIS framework, supporting clients across the lifespan with complex and dual diagnosis to achieve emotional wellbeing and independence.
Clinical Psychology Registrar
Matt is a Clinical Psychology Registrar training to become a fully qualified Clinical Psychologist after having completed his Master of Psychology (Clinical) and Bachelor of Psychology. Matt provides psychological therapy and psychometric/cognitive assessment to both adults and children for a wide variety of clinical presentations including depressive and anxiety disorders, ADHD, autism, personality issues and more. Matt is a warm and friendly member of our team.
Stacey registered as a Psychologist in NZ in 2018. She is a warm and friendly psychologist with an interest in providing psychological assessment and treatment to clients aged 16 years to older adults. Her areas of interest include depressive and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, trauma/PTSD, forensic issues, substance misuse, anger and stress management, emotion dysregulation and more. Stacey adopts various treatment approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Catalina is a warm, relatable and empathetic, fully qualified registered psychologist, who provides therapeutic support to clients aged 16 and over. Catalina works with couples, and individuals experiencing but not limited to depression, anxiety, panic attacks, stress, post-traumatic stress, suicidality and a variety of other concerns. She believes in a holistic, person-centred and collaborative approach to treatment, with the goal of increasing a clients’ level of insight, self-efficacy, confidence and awareness on their journey to optimal wellbeing. Laura is a warm and empathetic Clinical Psychologist who strives to establish genuine connections with clients to foster an environment where they feel heard, understood, and valued. Laura creates a safe and nurturing space where client can explore emotions freely, develop coping strategies, and embark on a path towards growth and recovery. She sees it as her privilege to be part of her clients transformative journeys, and is dedicated to helping them achieve their mental health goals, one step at a time.
Accredited Practicing Dietitian
Stephanie is a warm, caring and knowledgable Accredited Practicing Dietitian with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. Stephanie’s main aim is to assist clients in nourishing their bodies with good food, and providing them with the knowledge and education they need to make positive nutrition decisions. Stephanie is passionate about sustainable weight loss, eating disorder management and oncology nutrition amongst other areas. She believes in a client centred approach to nutrition, providing individualised nutritional advice and support for clients on their journey to achieving their personal goals. She endeavours to work alongside her clients, building rapport whilst providing simple, individualised nutritional interventions.
Cindy is our Practice Manager (or “Practice Mum” as we affectionately call her!) and along with the Director, oversees all of our clinic operations, staff and client management. Ensure you let her know about any specific requirements you may have.
Executive Assistant to the Director
Michelle is a highly skilled Executive Assistant with many years of experience providing these services to executives in various companies. Alongside our Practice Manager, Michelle assists our Director with the runnings of our busy Practice.
